Future of quantum computing by Apple




It is uncertain what specific plans Apple has for quantum computing in the future, as the company tends to keep such information closely guarded. However, it is known that Apple has been investing in and researching the technology for several years.

In 2017, Apple hired a team of quantum computing experts from the University of California, Berkeley, and also acquired a startup company called Vilynx, which specializes in machine learning and artificial intelligence. In 2019, Apple also opened a research lab dedicated to advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence, which could potentially include quantum computing research.

It is likely that Apple will continue to invest in and research quantum computing, as the technology has the potential to greatly enhance the capabilities of artificial intelligence and machine learning, which are areas of focus for the company. It is also possible that Apple could potentially use quantum computing to improve their products and services, such as Siri and Apple Maps, and develop new products and services in the future.
